Creating an Effective Health Promotion PSA

Teaching Strategy Description:

Based on the broad objective of disseminating health information, student teams are asked to propose a one line health promotion message.  Teams are then given 30 minutes to develop their message/topic into a 30 second Public Service Announcement  which they record on their cell phones and share with rest of class.

Teaching Context:

• An in-class, third year community health course
