How to Influence Decision-Makers through the Creation of Effective Questions

Teaching Strategy Description:

In this exercise, twelve student teams are assigned a determinant of health issue to discuss and then present in class. With the objective of the exercise being “Influencing Decision makers”, teams are asked to compose a question that they would ask local politicians pertaining to their DOH. Questions are collected, students vote on the best question and that question is subsequently sent to politicians for response.
